This is to show that even the 7 time World Champion can have their own lapse of concentration and bad luck moment in a race. This happened yesterday at the 2012 Singapore Grand Prix. Schumi was bearing down on Vergne who in turn was getting closer to the fighting packs in front of him. Both was taken out of the race without suffering any major injuries.
Schumacher even waited for Vergne to get out of his stricken car and offered him an apologetic handshake. True sportsmanship.
