Toyota GT86 gets new makeover

Toyota will now perform the pan-European premiere of its latest range of TRD Performance Line accessories for the newly launched GT86, at the Paris Motor Show that runs for the public from September 29 to October 14.
TRD, which stands for Toyota Racing Development, has been developing tuning parts for Toyota vehicles in Japan for more than half a century, and now, its products will be available throughout Europe for the first time in its history.

In Paris, the Japanese automaker will display a GT86 model that has been fitted with selected parts to showcase the comprehensive range of exterior, interior and mechanical components that are available for the rear-wheel drive sports coupe in Europe.
Toyota pointed out that the TRD parts will not be grouped into packages, and will each be sold individually.
For the exterior, TRD's range includes a host of aero parts such as a front spoiler, side skirts, a rear trunk spoiler and a rear under spoiler, all of which can be ordered in white and partial black, all black, or in an unpainted, primer finish.
Other available options are a metallic silver fuel filler cap, a stainless steel rear diffuser set and a choice of two, TRD 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, TRD offers a center console-mounted push button start switch, and a new gear knob clad in leather.
For those looking to improve the car's handling, the chassis can be enhanced with a full-length ride adjustment shock absorber and spring suspension set, a front and rear stabilizer set, front strut tower bar with a carbon fibre shaft, and a Monoblock Brake Kit that’s uses 355 mm front and 345 mm rear rotors and red, 6-pot front and 4-pot rear Brembo monoblock calipers.
There are no upgrades to increase the engine's horsepower yet at the time of publish, but TRD does offer a high response muffler with four exhausts that gives the exhaust a racing note – at least that's what TRD says.
